About this item

  • High-Precision Dial Indicator Gauge: This brake disc gauge has a measurement range of 0–10 mm and a scale interval of 0.01 mm. Dial indicator provides fast and accurate measurements in a matter of seconds, making brake repair jobs easier and more convenient
  • Vise Grip Clamp: This 7 inches locking vise grip pliers that features a boss with threaded holes on three sides, offering great freedom in connecting the articulated arm. This allows the locking pliers device to accommodate various material thicknesses. The clamp is easy to adjust and holds steady without slipping, making setup simple and frustration-free. This dial gauge set allows dial gauge placement where there are no suitable places to secure a magnetic base
  • Adjustable Flexible Reach Arm: length 13.7 inches,the flexible stem holder twist in any direction, a lot of freedom with regard to placement during setup, and holds the dial exactly where you want it. Ideal for measuring hard-to-reach areas
  • Easy to Set Up and Use: First, zero the dial gauge, then assemble and secure it along with the grip locking pliers and articulated arm. Once mounted set it about 10mm from the edge of the rotor, and find the low spot, once you do, sero at the low spot, then slowly spin the rotor, you will want to note the high spot readings and them use the manufacturer supplied info for the vehicle to determine if the rotor can be cut or needs to be replaced. Note: if you prefer to mount the articulated arm and dial indicator onto a traditional magnetic base, you can do so; thread is M8 x 1.25 so it will also fit your rotating magnetic dial indicator mount
