Terms of Service
Last Updated: September 3, 2026
Overview
This website is operated under the store name MROVanta. Throughout this website, the terms “MROVanta,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of MROVanta and the services offered through https://mrovanta.com.
MROVanta is an online retailer of industrial maintenance and facility supplies for factories, warehouses, workshops, facility-management operations, maintenance teams, and small manufacturing businesses.
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website, products, content, features, communications, and related services collectively referred to as the “Service.”
By accessing the website, creating an account, submitting an order, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to the policies incorporated into them, including our:
- Privacy Policy
- Shipping & Delivery Policy
- Return & Refund Policy
- Any product-specific terms or notices presented before purchase
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Service or submit an order.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
1. Eligibility and Authority
You must be at least the age of majority in your place of residence and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Service or make a purchase.
If you access the Service or place an order on behalf of a company, employer, government body, organization, or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service and any product purchased from MROVanta complies with the laws, regulations, workplace rules, industry standards, and safety requirements applicable to you and your location.
2. Account and Order Information
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information when creating an account, submitting an inquiry, or placing an order.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials;
- Restricting unauthorized access to your account;
- Reviewing your order details before submitting payment;
- Providing an accurate billing address, shipping address, email address, and telephone number; and
- Promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized account activity.
You may not impersonate another person, use false or misleading information, or use another person’s payment method without authorization.
We may request reasonable information to verify an order, payment, account, delivery address, or suspected fraud. Failure to provide the requested information may result in delayed processing or order cancellation.
3. Acceptable Use
You may use the Service only for lawful purposes.
You may not:
- Use the Service or a product for an illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or unauthorized purpose;
- Violate applicable laws, regulations, sanctions, export controls, or third-party rights;
- Submit false, misleading, defamatory, abusive, or fraudulent information;
- Introduce viruses, malware, harmful code, automated attacks, or disruptive technologies;
- Scrape, crawl, copy, harvest, or extract website data through unauthorized automated means;
- Interfere with the website’s security, operation, payment processing, or availability;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, networks, or information;
- Use the website to distribute spam, phishing messages, or malicious content;
- Circumvent purchasing limits, product restrictions, or security controls;
- Use our content, images, or product information to misrepresent an affiliation with MROVanta; or
- Use the Service in any manner that could expose MROVanta, its customers, service providers, or other persons to harm or legal liability.
We may restrict or terminate access when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or action is necessary to protect customers, the Service, our rights, or third parties.
4. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to present product descriptions, specifications, dimensions, compatibility information, photographs, availability, and prices accurately.
However:
- Images may not show exact colors, proportions, packaging, or minor manufacturing variations.
- Product packaging, labels, included accessories, model revisions, or appearance may change without materially changing the product’s stated function.
- Measurements may be rounded or based on manufacturer-supplied information.
- Compatibility depends on the customer’s equipment, system, installation, operating environment, and intended application.
- Manufacturer-provided descriptions or specifications may be updated or corrected.
A product’s suitability cannot be determined solely from general category placement, photographs, or abbreviated descriptions.
If a particular measurement, material, certification, standard, voltage, pressure rating, thread type, load capacity, tolerance, chemical compatibility, or other specification is essential to your application, contact us before purchasing and independently verify the applicable manufacturer documentation.
We may correct genuine typographical, technical, pricing, or descriptive errors. We will not use this provision to substitute a materially different product without your agreement.
5. Industrial Product Selection and Compatibility
Industrial products may require technical knowledge to select, install, operate, inspect, and maintain safely.
Before ordering or using a product, you are responsible for reviewing relevant factors, including:
- Dimensions and tolerances
- Materials and chemical compatibility
- Voltage, current, frequency, and electrical ratings
- Pressure, temperature, flow, and load ratings
- Thread, fitting, connector, and mounting types
- Environmental and workplace conditions
- Required certifications or regulatory approvals
- Machine, equipment, or system compatibility
- Installation and maintenance requirements
- Manufacturer warnings and instructions
General information provided by our website or customer support is not a substitute for an assessment by a qualified engineer, electrician, mechanic, installer, safety professional, or other competent technician when professional judgment is reasonably required.
Do not rely on a product for a safety-critical application unless its specifications and suitability for that application have been properly verified.
6. Installation, Operation, and Workplace Safety
Products must be installed, operated, inspected, stored, and maintained according to:
- Manufacturer instructions and warnings;
- Applicable laws and regulations;
- Workplace health and safety requirements;
- Equipment specifications;
- Industry standards; and
- Accepted professional practices.
Installation involving electrical systems, pressurized systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, machinery, structural loads, hazardous substances, or other potentially dangerous applications should be performed by qualified personnel.
Before installation or maintenance, appropriate safety measures may include lockout/tagout, isolation of energy sources, depressurization, grounding, personal protective equipment, guarding, ventilation, spill control, and verification that equipment is in a safe condition.
You must not remove, bypass, or defeat a product’s safety guard, warning, interlock, protective device, or rated limitation.
Nothing on our website should be interpreted as authorizing unsafe practices or replacing legally required training, licensing, supervision, inspection, or professional advice.
7. Orders and Contract Formation
Placing an order is an offer to purchase the selected products under these Terms. An automated order-confirmation email acknowledges receipt of the order but does not necessarily constitute final acceptance.
An order is accepted when we confirm fulfillment or dispatch, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
We may decline, limit, or cancel an order for a legitimate reason, including:
- Product unavailability
- Incorrect product or pricing information
- Payment failure or suspected fraud
- Delivery restrictions
- Hazardous-material or regulatory restrictions
- Export, sanctions, or customs restrictions
- Unusual quantities suggesting unauthorized resale or misuse
- Inability to verify required order information
- A reasonable product-safety concern
- An obvious website or system error
If we cancel a paid order before shipment, we will issue the applicable refund to the original payment method. We will not cancel an order for an unlawful discriminatory reason.
8. Prices, Taxes, and Payment
Prices are displayed in the currency identified on the website or at checkout.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, displayed product prices do not include:
- Shipping charges
- Sales, use, value-added, or similar taxes
- Customs duties
- Import charges
- Brokerage fees
- Installation or professional-service costs
Applicable charges collected by us will be displayed before order submission.
You authorize us and our payment service providers to charge the payment method submitted for the total amount shown at checkout.
We may correct an obvious pricing or calculation error before shipment. If correction would increase the amount payable, we will request your approval or cancel and refund the affected order. We will not charge an increased amount without authorization.
Prices and promotions may change prospectively without notice. A change will not retroactively increase the price of an accepted order.
9. Product Availability and Purchase Limits
Product availability is not guaranteed until an order is accepted and fulfilled.
Inventory may change because products can be stored or fulfilled from multiple locations. A product shown as available may become unavailable before fulfillment.
We may impose reasonable quantity limits, restrict sales to certain destinations, or discontinue a product. If an unavailable product has already been paid for, we will provide the notice, cancellation option, or refund required by applicable law.
10. Shipping and Delivery
Order processing, shipping charges, delivery estimates, tracking, split shipments, international shipping, delayed packages, and address problems are governed by our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Delivery dates are estimates unless a guaranteed delivery service is expressly identified.
If we cannot ship within the represented timeframe, we will provide the delay notice, cancellation option, consent request, or refund required by applicable law.
You are responsible for providing an accurate and accessible delivery location. Additional requirements may apply to factories, warehouses, workshops, commercial properties, freight deliveries, restricted sites, or locations requiring appointments or loading access.
11. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations
Returns, refunds, exchanges, damaged products, defective products, incorrect shipments, and cancellation requests are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.
Return authorization must generally be obtained before a product is sent back. The business address shown in these Terms is not automatically the return address.
Nothing in our Return & Refund Policy or these Terms limits any non-waivable right available under applicable law.
12. Hazardous, Regulated, and Restricted Products
Some industrial products may be subject to special restrictions because of chemical composition, pressure, flammability, batteries, aerosols, electrical characteristics, transportation classifications, or intended application.
You are responsible for determining whether possession, transportation, storage, installation, and use of a product are lawful at your location.
You agree to follow applicable safety data sheets, labels, warnings, storage instructions, disposal requirements, and transportation restrictions.
We may refuse or cancel an order when shipment or sale would violate legal, carrier, manufacturer, customs, or safety restrictions.
You may not purchase or use a product for weapons development, unlawful surveillance, prohibited military use, sanctioned transactions, or any activity prohibited by applicable law.
13. Product Recalls and Safety Notices
Products must not be used contrary to an applicable recall, corrective-action notice, safety warning, or stop-use instruction.
If we learn that a product sold through MROVanta is subject to a relevant recall or safety action, we may:
- Remove or suspend the product listing;
- Contact affected customers when reasonably possible;
- Provide manufacturer or government instructions;
- Restrict further sale or shipment; and
- Facilitate an available recall remedy.
Customers should follow the instructions issued by the manufacturer or relevant government authority.
If you become aware of a serious safety issue involving a product purchased from MROVanta, stop using the product when appropriate and contact us promptly.
14. Manufacturer Information and Warranties
Some products may be covered by a manufacturer warranty. Warranty scope, duration, exclusions, registration, service location, and claim procedures vary by product and manufacturer.
Manufacturer warranties are separate from MROVanta’s Return & Refund Policy. Unless expressly stated in writing, MROVanta does not modify or extend a third-party manufacturer warranty.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, no statement by customer support creates a warranty beyond an express written warranty applicable to the product.
This section does not exclude statutory warranties, guarantees, or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Website Availability
We may maintain, update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service when reasonably necessary.
We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, updates, technical failures, network outages, security incidents, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
We will not use this provision to avoid obligations relating to orders already accepted or payments already received.
16. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the website and its original content, design, organization, text, graphics, branding, logos, and other materials are owned by or licensed to MROVanta and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Manufacturer names, product names, trademarks, images, and specifications may belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not necessarily imply sponsorship, endorsement, or direct affiliation.
You may use the website for personal or legitimate internal business purchasing purposes. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, sell, license, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit protected website content without authorization.
17. Reviews, Feedback, and User Content
If you submit a review, photograph, comment, suggestion, or other content, you represent that:
- It reflects your honest experience or opinion;
- It is not knowingly false or misleading;
- You have the right to submit it;
- It does not infringe another person’s rights;
- It does not contain confidential, malicious, unlawful, or abusive material; and
- Any material connection, incentive, discount, or benefit related to the content is properly disclosed.
You retain ownership of content you submit, but you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, format, and use it for operating and promoting the Service, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
We may moderate or remove content for legitimate reasons, such as fraud, unlawful content, privacy violations, harassment, irrelevant material, or undisclosed conflicts of interest. We will not condition publication of genuine customer reviews on whether the review is favorable.
18. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may contain links to manufacturers, carriers, payment providers, government agencies, or other third-party websites and services.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control every third-party website and are not responsible for unrelated third-party content or practices merely because a link appears on our website.
This section does not remove any responsibility MROVanta has for service providers acting on our behalf in fulfilling an order.
19. Privacy and Electronic Communications
Our collection, use, retention, and disclosure of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.
By submitting an order or contacting us electronically, you consent to receive transactional communications reasonably related to:
- Order confirmation
- Payment or verification
- Shipping and delivery
- Returns and refunds
- Product safety or recalls
- Customer support
- Changes materially affecting your transaction
Transactional communications are not the same as optional marketing communications. Marketing preferences and applicable withdrawal rights are governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
20. Disclaimer of Warranties
Except for any express warranty provided in writing and any warranty or guarantee that cannot legally be excluded, the website and Service are provided on an “as available” basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim implied warranties relating solely to website operation, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Product warranties and statutory rights may vary by jurisdiction. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions, so some exclusions may not apply to you.
Nothing in this section excludes liability for an express representation on which you reasonably relied or for a product obligation that cannot legally be disclaimed.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MROVanta will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or products, including lost profits, lost production, lost contracts, business interruption, or loss of data, when such losses were not reasonably foreseeable or were not caused by our breach.
Where liability may legally be limited, our aggregate liability relating to a particular order will not exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply to the extent prohibited by law and do not exclude or limit liability for:
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- Willful misconduct or gross negligence;
- Death or personal injury where liability cannot legally be limited;
- Violation of non-waivable consumer rights;
- Obligations expressly accepted in writing; or
- Any other liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.
Customers remain responsible for losses caused by improper product selection, unauthorized modification, misuse, unsafe installation, operation outside rated limits, or failure to follow applicable instructions, except to the extent the loss was caused by our legally actionable conduct.
22. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold MROVanta harmless from third-party claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising directly from:
- Your unlawful use of the Service;
- Your intentional violation of these Terms;
- Your infringement of another person’s rights;
- Your unauthorized modification or resale representation concerning a product; or
- Your use of a product in an illegal or intentionally unsafe manner.
This provision does not require a consumer to indemnify MROVanta for MROVanta’s own negligence, breach, unlawful conduct, or responsibility that cannot legally be transferred.
23. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service when reasonably necessary because of fraud, unlawful conduct, security threats, repeated policy abuse, chargeback fraud, harmful activity, or material violation of these Terms.
Termination does not eliminate rights or obligations that arose before termination, including payment, refund, intellectual-property, safety, and dispute-related obligations.
24. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, epidemics, war, civil unrest, government action, customs restrictions, labor disputes, transportation interruptions, carrier outages, utility failures, or internet disruptions.
This section does not permit us to retain payment indefinitely for products we cannot ship and does not limit any cancellation or refund right required by law.
25. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms prospectively when reasonably necessary to reflect changes in the Service, products, operations, security practices, or legal requirements.
The updated version will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Changes will not retroactively remove material rights relating to an order already placed unless the change is required by law or the customer expressly agrees.
Your continued use of the Service after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms for future use.
26. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except that this choice does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections available under the laws of the consumer’s place of residence.
The courts of Hong Kong will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms, unless applicable law grants you the right to bring or defend a claim in another competent court.
Before commencing formal proceedings, you and MROVanta are encouraged to attempt to resolve the dispute by contacting the other party and providing a reasonable description of the issue and requested resolution.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or using a legally available consumer-protection, regulatory, chargeback, small-claims, or dispute-resolution process.
27. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent legally permitted or severed if necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
28. No Waiver
Failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive the right to enforce that provision or another provision later.
A waiver is effective only when made in writing by an authorized representative.
29. Assignment
You may not assign contractual rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent where consent is legally permitted to be required.
We may assign these Terms as part of a legitimate merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, or transfer of the business, provided that the assignment does not unlawfully reduce your rights regarding an existing order.
30. Entire Agreement
These Terms and the policies incorporated by reference constitute the entire agreement between you and MROVanta concerning use of the Service and purchases through the website.
If a product page or checkout notice contains a specific term that conflicts with a general term in these Terms, the more specific term will apply to that product or transaction, subject to applicable law.
