About this item

  • The OUTER THREADS on the BULKHEADS are REVERSED, so they tighten backwards. This is because pressure from liquid, on the inside of the fermenter (tank or liquid containment system) would otherwise over time loosen the nut if it were just a standard thread. The left-hand thread will not allow it to loosen even with that pressure.
  • VARIETY: Not only does the bulk head come in multiple sizes to fit any accessory you might have but we also have the option for food grade quality or industrial strength EPDM quality gaskets.
  • EASY TO INSTALL: A Weldless Option to add threads to any tank in seconds but you can also easily remove them to clean your equipment hassle free.
